About Us

Who We Are

Automobile and Motorcycle Association Vietnam (AMAV) is an exciting start-up with desire to advance, grow and innovate motoring, mobility and motor sport safety awareness, participation and advocacy in Vietnam.

What We Do

Our contemporary structure will evolve overtime to meet the emerging and growing needs of our organisational model. At this stage, we envision the organisational structure presented here.

Our President

Our President and inaugural CEO, Ms. Thuy Nguyen (Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy), will work with our team to progressively enhance our capability and capacity, as the entities evolve. Our team consists of a combination of Vietnamese nationals and international members.

Vietnam’s roads are ranked amongst the worst in the world for traffic accidents. AMAV is dedicated to ensuring efficient and functional personal mobility for all. To ensure sustainable transportation through efficient actions and policies that promote safe, clean, affordable and inclusive transport within the Vietnam region.

Improve the safety of everyday road users throughout Vietnam

Reduce climate and health impacts of mobility within the region

Be sustainable and accessible to all Vietnam citizens

Increase knowledge, understanding and promote diversity of motorsport for all

Motor sport is one of the most exciting, diverse and enjoyable sporting activities on the planet. The beauty of the sport is that it offers something for everyone, as it is one of the few activities that allow men and women to compete against each other on a level playing field, regardless of their age, sex, background and even their physical disabilities. AMAV's aim is to promote, encourage and develop affordable; safe; ethnic, gender and culturally diverse; and environmentally sensitive motoring and motor sport throughout Vietnam.
